Implant.
The surgical method of implant incorporation is a solution for single tooth hypodontia (the absence of one tooth), extended lateral and terminal hypodontia (the absence of one or several teeth) and anodontia (the absence of all teeth).
If an implant is not incorporated, hypodontia has invasive prosthetic solutions, involving neighbouring teeth polishing (in single tooth and lateral hypodontia) for a fixed prosthetic reconstruction – dental bridge, or involving a removable prosthetic solution – dental prosthesis.
